Sweden and Finland have placed a joint order for over 300 additional Sisu GTP 4×4 armored off-road vehicles, raising their combined procurement to more than 600 units. Valued at around 2 billion Swedish krona ($211 million), the order includes configurations such as command, medical, single-cab, air-defense, and CBRN-detection variants. Deliveries will align with an earlier order, supported by increased production capacity, with Swedish deliveries scheduled between 2026 and 2028. Designed for harsh terrain including mud, snow, and rugged landscapes, the vehicle features independent suspension, locking differentials, optional winch systems, and a Central Tire Inflation System. It offers 0.4-meter ground clearance, a 45-degree approach angle, and 60-percent gradient capability. Powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM926 diesel engine, the GTP delivers strong performance and modular STANAG-compliant protection.
