The Defense Acquisition and Program Administration (DAPA) of South Korea has authorized the creation of an enhanced version of the long-range surface-to-air missile (L-SAM). The development has been funded to the tune of 567.7 billion South Korean won (about $388 million) through 2028. Along with 19 other firms, the state-owned Agency for Defense Development will be engaged in the creation.
