The new frigate of the Colombian Navy will be outfitted with cutting-edge radars, sensors, and management systems thanks to a deal that Saab has signed. The agreement includes advanced radars and sensors for Colombia’s Plataforma Estratégica de Superficie frigate program, as well as the 9LV Fire Control System and the 9LV Combat Management System. The delivery will also include the Ceros 200 radar, the EOS 500 electro-optical fire control director, and Sea Giraffe 4A radars from Saab.
