A NATO-approved European defense partner has signed a record-breaking agreement with an Australian extended reality systems provider, marking the company’s largest defense contract in its history. The collaboration will deliver secure computing and communications infrastructure built on the INTEGRATEDXR platform, a technology that blends artificial intelligence with advanced visualization to allow operators to interact with and analyze complex mission data more effectively. Initially tested through a pilot program last year, the platform is now set to expand across Europe’s critical defense sites. The agreement begins at AUD 22.3 million (USD 14.7 million) with potential to grow to AUD 29.5 million (USD 19.4 million). Including previously awarded contracts valued at AUD 17.7 million (USD 11.6 million) and completed work worth AUD 10.3 million (USD 6.8 million), the overall initiative has reached AUD 40 million (USD 26.4 million) and could peak at AUD 47.2 million (USD 31.1 million) before 2030. Execution will rely on existing capabilities, requiring no additional investment. The European partner, already integrated with leading defense contractors, enhances NATO’s broader digital transformation strategy by deploying AI-driven visualization to improve monitoring, planning, and site security. This contract reflects the rising importance of intelligent platforms in defense, ensuring secure interaction with sensitive information and strengthening Europe’s preparedness for emerging security challenges.
