BAE Systems Hägglunds has contracted Elbit Systems to equip European CV90 infantry fighting vehicles with the Iron Fist active protection system, in deals totaling $150 million. The lightweight APS provides 360-degree coverage against anti-armor threats, including rockets, guided missiles, and drones. A recent European live-fire demonstration highlighted its ability to intercept multiple 120mm tank rounds. The system is also being integrated on US Army Bradley IFVs.
