The agreement focuses on creating integrated Heavy Equipment Trailer solutions by combining Rheinmetall’s military-grade truck platforms with Nooteboom’s advanced trailer designs. These systems are intended to transport a wide range of heavy assets, including main battle tanks and self-propelled artillery. With production potentially taking place in Romania, the initiative supports Europe’s push for a stronger and more resilient defense industrial base. Nooteboom brings decades of experience in designing trailers for extremely heavy loads, while Rheinmetall contributes expertise in vehicle integration and defense markets. The collaboration is driven by increasing demand from NATO members seeking reliable logistics systems to support modern mechanized forces.
