Bell Textron has selected Marotta Controls to supply a power inverter for the US Army’s MV-75 FLRAA, supporting the aircraft’s advanced onboard systems while preserving its lightweight and energy-efficient design. This contract marks Marotta’s first collaboration with Bell and its foray into DC-to-AC power conversion solutions for military applications. The MV-75, a 51-foot tiltrotor, is designed to succeed aging helicopters such as the Black Hawk and Apache, combining vertical takeoff and landing functionality with the extended range and speed of fixed-wing aircraft.
