Lockheed Martin has received a $104.6-million US DoD contract to produce SPY-7 solid-state AESA radars for Canada under a foreign military sale. Designed for naval air and missile defense, SPY-7 offers long-range, high-resolution tracking across air, surface, and ballistic missile threats. Work will be performed in New Jersey through 2032. The radar is widely expected to equip Canada’s future River-class surface combatants, forming a cornerstone of Ottawa’s next-generation naval capability.
