The 30th improved F-16 Viper has been delivered to the Hellenic Air Force by the American company Lockheed Martin. This enhancement improves Greece’s defense and its capacity to cooperate with allied forces. The aircraft is a component of a larger modernization plan aimed at boosting Greece’s combat aviation skills. As part of a $1.5 billion program signed in 2018, Athens started upgrading its US-manufactured F-16s to the Viper configuration.
