Hungary is moving closer to deploying NATO-standard long-range artillery after Lockheed Martin and 4iG launched talks on integrating HIMARS-compatible launcher systems locally. The launcher loader module offers interoperability with existing US rocket artillery and flexible missile loadouts. The initiative comes after Washington cleared Hungary’s HIMARS request, paving the way for deliveries of artillery units and missiles over the next several years and strengthening NATO’s eastern-flank fire support.
