A new multinational contract will see Trophy Active Protection Systems fitted to Leopard 2A8 tanks across four European armies, reinforcing survivability on NATO’s eastern flank. Valued at €330 million, the agreement standardizes APS capability for Lithuania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Croatia while covering training and sustainment. Trophy is designed to defeat a wide range of anti-armor threats in real time, even while the vehicle is on the move. Beyond intercepting incoming weapons, the system provides rapid cueing of enemy firing positions, enhancing situational awareness and coordinated response. EuroTrophy describes the deal as confirmation of Trophy’s role as a core NATO protection system.
