The US State Department has approved a $90.5-million foreign military sale of M1085A2 and M1078A2 medium tactical vehicles to Lebanon. The package includes trucks, spares, documentation, training, and logistical support, with Oshkosh Defense as the main contractor. These MTVs enhance mobility across difficult terrain and support logistics, troop transport, and tactical missions. According to DSCA, the vehicles will boost LAF’s ability to respond to threats and improve interoperability with US forces. The sale continues longstanding US efforts exceeding $3 billion in aid since 2006.
