Skiftech, a Ukrainian developer of defense solutions, has been given a contract by the US Department of Defense to develop laser-based simulation technology for the military. The agreement is a component of the service’s effort to increase the use of its current Tactical Engagement Simulation Systems (TESS), which employ laser transmitters rather than live ammunition for live weapons training. Skiftech will collaborate on the project with the Army Contracting Command in Orlando, Florida, through March 2035.
