LG CNS has been selected by South Korea’s Defense Information Agency to lead two major digital transformation projects aimed at strengthening military networks and infrastructure management. One project will unify previously separate communications systems across all military branches, enabling faster and more secure information sharing through software-defined networking and advanced cybersecurity defenses. AI-driven monitoring will allow rapid detection and response to cyber threats. The second project will overhaul defense facility management by connecting internal and external government systems and combining operational data with mapping and geospatial information. The integrated platform will support end-to-end oversight of military facilities, from budgeting and construction to maintenance and property management, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency across the defense enterprise.
