South Korea’s Hanwha Aerospace is establishing a European armored vehicle production center in Romania to manufacture K9 howitzers and K10 support vehicles. The expansive facility will support assembly, integration, maintenance, and overhaul while incorporating Romanian industry partners. The investment reflects Romania’s broader push to expand domestic defense manufacturing and strengthen regional industrial capabilities.
