
The AH-64E Apache is a state-of-the-art attack helicopter equipped with a next-generation defensive suite and a 30-millimeter chain gun, capable of engaging targets with high precision. It supports a wide array of multi-domain missile systems, making it a formidable frontline asset for precision strike and support missions. Powered by twin General Electric T700 turboshaft engines, the Apache can fly at speeds up to 300 kilometers per hour and has a combat range of around 500 kilometers. Measuring 18 meters in length with a 15-meter rotor diameter, it combines speed, agility, and firepower. The Indian Air Force already operates 22 Apache helicopters across two squadrons, with the platforms actively supporting operations in the northern and western sectors. The Army’s induction complements this capability, ensuring enhanced coordination and power projection
