Pune-based Belrise Industries and Israel’s Plasan have formalized cooperation to localize production of advanced electric unmanned ground vehicle technologies in India. The collaboration centers on Plasan’s ATEMM electric mission module, a scalable unmanned platform capable of powering equipment, supporting logistics, or forming larger autonomous vehicles through modular coupling. Designed for diverse terrain and military use, the system enhances mobility, energy availability, and survivability. Plasan will provide design know-how in protection and defense systems, while Belrise leverages its automotive manufacturing capabilities to support domestic production. The partnership aligns with India’s broader push to indigenize advanced military vehicle technologies and expand electric and autonomous capabilities across land forces.
