KNDS Deutschland has completed delivery of all 44 Leopard 2A7HU main battle tanks to Hungary, finalizing a major modernization package signed in 2018. The deal also included artillery systems, support vehicles, training, and logistics infrastructure. Assigned to Hungary’s 1st Armored Brigade, the tanks replace legacy Soviet-era platforms and provide enhanced firepower, protection, and mobility through advanced 120mm armament and modern subsystems.
