Hanwha Systems and Hanwha Defense USA have partnered with HavocAI to develop a 200-foot autonomous surface vessel for the US military. The uncrewed ship is designed to operate in contested maritime environments without onboard personnel. Hanwha’s US-based Philly Shipyard is positioned as the primary production site, pairing large-scale shipbuilding with HavocAI’s autonomy software proven in GPS-denied conditions. The agreement also includes preparation for serial production and long-term support.
