Greece has taken delivery of its first FDI frigate, HS Kimon, from Naval Group, marking a milestone in the Hellenic Navy’s modernization. The vessel will undergo weapons integration in France before entering service in 2026 and receiving incremental upgrades through 2029. Designed for multi-domain warfare, the Kimon-class will replace aging frigates and enhance Greece’s naval capabilities across air, surface, and subsurface operations.
