Germany has approved Rheinmetall’s AGSP modular simulator for training crews of its Puma infantry fighting vehicles. The system recreates combat conditions using VBS4 wargaming software and includes cabins replicating Puma interiors, alongside a command and control station. It supports training from turret crew to company-level exercises, with integration for infantry squads using Germany’s next-gen soldier systems and battle management tools. AGSP’s modular design allows component swaps, while being housed in 12 movable containers for flexible deployment. Developed in close collaboration with the German Armed Forces, the simulator mirrors operational requirements. Rheinmetall noted this reflects Germany’s shift toward digital training as it prepares to field about 400 Puma vehicles by decade’s end.
