Less than a year after the contract was signed, Airbus Helicopters has delivered the first of up to 82 H145M helicopters to Germany from its Donauwörth site. The Bundeswehr, or German Armed Forces, has designated their new H145Ms as “Leichter Kampfhubschrauber” (light combat helicopter), or LKH. These helicopters are intended for various missions, including training, reconnaissance, special forces operations, and light attack.
