On July 4, at the ILÜ San 2025 medical practice in Feldkirchen, Lower Bavaria, General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) officially handed over the Medium Protected Medical Vehicle (known as mgSanKfz in German service), which is built on the EAGLE 6×6, to the Bundeswehr.
The car has room for a crew of four, and the addition of an emergency doctor is an option to guarantee the best level of medical treatment.
With its cutting-edge medical technology and adaptable stretcher loading system, the mgSanKfz is capable of safely transporting one to two patients.
The several dangers found on today’s battlefields are protected against in both the transport compartment and the driver’s cab.
With its powerful 229 kW diesel engine, strong chassis with EAGLE-typical De Dion suspension, and third-axle steering, the mgSanKfz sets a new bar for this class of vehicles.
