As part of a rotorcraft fleet expansion program for the army, France has taken delivery of the last Airbus NH90 Caïman Tactical Transport Helicopter.The delivery was the conclusion of shipments that started in 2011 to meet the service’s need for 63 NH90s in a customized “Standard 1” configuration that included improved logistical capabilities. The force is anticipated to acquire an additional 18 NH90s in a “Standard 2” variant between 2026 and 2029, following this achievement.
