The Royal Canadian Air Force’s Future Fighter Lead-in Training (FFLIT) program will be created by CAE, which Canada has chosen. Ottawa’s initiative to train pilots in the operation of the service’s future fleet of combat aircraft, notably the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fifth-generation fighter jets, is known as FFLIT. Based in Quebec, the business will serve as a strategic partner, helping to design, improve, and roll out the program, with all procedures ensuring that the dedicated workforce will have the essential skills needed to operate the “complex and significantly capable” planes throughout changing environments.
