The hull design of the Finnish Navy’s first multi-purpose Pohjanmaa-class corvette has been completed by Rauma Marine Constructions. The ship’s equipment will still be installed in Satakunta, in southern Finland, in preparation for its formal inauguration later this spring. In the meantime, Rauma has finished building a heavy-lift ramp and will continue working on a submersible barge that will assist in launching the first corvette.
