Fincantieri and Navantia plan to form a joint venture for the European Patrol Corvette program, aiming to deliver next-generation modular warships by 2030. The collaboration will oversee detailed design of the Full Combat Multipurpose model and assess additional market opportunities. The EPC platform will measure about 110 meters, support speeds up to 26 knots, and accommodate mission-specific weapon packages and an NH90-sized helicopter deck.
