The British Army has begun receiving its new Ground-Based Surveillance Radar systems from Elbit Systems UK, following strong results during live-fire testing. The initial 55 systems are part of a larger 90-unit order placed in 2023, with an option for additional sets. Built in the UK and Europe, the radars provide both target-surveillance and fall-of-shot functions, helping troops track threats, classify targets, and adjust artillery fire with improved speed and accuracy.
