To replace the Netherlands Armed Forces’ Fast Raiding Interception and Special Forces Craft (FRISC), De Haas Shipyards has been awarded a contract to construct 13 ships. The incoming ships will have better sensors, communication systems, and weapons compatibility than their predecessors. Additionally, the fleet will have contemporary hulls and seats to reduce the physical burden on staff members while working in harsh conditions, as well as be more difficult for enemy trackers to detect.
