Sikorsky Aircraft has secured three U.S. Navy contracts totaling $320.2 million to significantly bolster the CH-53K helicopter program. The largest of these agreements, worth $175.7 million, is for the procurement of 22 main modules for the CH-53K aircraft. An additional $132.9 million contract will secure 128 main rotor blade assemblies, and an $11.6 million contract provides for eight helicopter rotor hub assemblies. These combined contracts are crucial for the ongoing production and maintenance of the CH-53K King Stallion, the U.S. Marine Corps’ advanced heavy-lift helicopter.
