South Korea’s Hanwha Ocean has expanded its Canadian submarine bid, selecting Babcock Canada to manage in-service support. The CPSP program, worth C$60B, will replace Canada’s aging fleet by the 2040s. Hanwha promises deliveries starting in 2032, one per year, if chosen in 2026 over rival TKMS.
