The US Space Force has selected CACI International for a task order worth up to $212 million to deliver large-scale network infrastructure upgrades over the next five years. Executed under the Pentagon’s Enterprise IT as a Service Base Infrastructure Modernization program, the effort seeks to unify and modernize legacy systems supporting air and space missions. CACI will focus on transforming base area networks that underpin internal communications and data exchange across 14 installations, ensuring reliable connectivity amid growing operational and cybersecurity demands. The contract complements the company’s broader defense portfolio, including a recently awarded US Army project valued at up to $79 million to develop radio-frequency-enabled tools to counter adversarial electronic warfare systems. Together, these initiatives aim to strengthen survivability, command-and-control resilience, and combat effectiveness across multiple military domains.
