Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) will supply six Tejas multirole combat aircraft to the Indian Air Force in March next year, addressing previous shipment issues. The delays were attributed to shortages from GE Aerospace due to the pandemic. HAL plans to deliver 83 Tejas jets over the coming years. The new fleet will replace the outdated MiG-21 aircraft.
