Blackhawk has been awarded a significant contract to provide the German military with its modular Holster Carry System, offering flexible and reliable holster placement options for soldiers.
The system allows holsters to be worn on the belt, chest, or thigh, with quick-detach adapters that work with Blackhawk and G-Code RTI components. Built in the US, it is designed for durability and practical field use.
Helmut Hofmann, Blackhawk’s German partner, emphasized the project as a prime example of blending American engineering with German precision and logistical support.
The contract was secured with assistance from Outdoor Marketing International, Blackhawk’s European agency, leveraging their market expertise and strong local connections.
Germany’s soldier modernization efforts have included Rheinmetall’s April 2024 framework contract for 191,000 tactical intercom systems, an August 2024 public tender for leather belt holsters for the HK SFP9‑TR, and follow-on modular vest orders awarded to Mehler Protection in March 2025 for Special Operations Forces.
