Bell Boeing’s Joint Program Office has been awarded a $590 million contract by the US Department of Defense to supply the navy with CMV-22B Osprey tiltrotor planes.The main operations for this project, which will be coordinated with the Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland, are scheduled to take place in Fort Worth, Texas. The contract calls for the manufacture and delivery of five systems for the service, with a deadline of January 2028.
