BAE Systems has launched a new variant of its Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), now equipped with the KONGSBERG Medium Caliber Turret (MCT). The AMPV, a tracked armored vehicle that replaced the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) in the U.S. Army, reflects ongoing modernization to meet the dynamic challenges of current battlefields. This variant is armed with a 30mm automatic cannon, enhancing firepower and versatility for the U.S. Army.
