CGI UK, an information technology company, has been awarded a contract by the UK Ministry of Defense to provide software to improve the military’s satellite operations. The 65 million pound ($84 million) agreement will create “Borealis,” a command, control, and data processing solution that will aid in the monitoring and protection of satellites used by the British armed forces and space agency.
