The US Air Force is spending $99M on a new AI project that helps aircraft track threats faster and more accurately. Known as ATA-AI, the system crunches massive amounts of 3D data to detect and follow even stealthy or fast-moving targets. The program started in 2024 and could significantly improve battlefield awareness.
