After months of construction, Tata Advanced Systems revealed the Advanced Armored Platform – Tracked (AAP-Tr), its concept for India’s next-generation infantry combat vehicle.
Built on a V-hull chassis, the AAP-Tr is engineered to better absorb mine and IED blasts, with an external frame reportedly able to withstand explosions up to 15 kg of TNT. Inside, layered ceramic-composite panels protect troops from armor-piercing rounds and rocket threats while retaining battlefield mobility.
