Under a newly awarded $536 million contract, Raytheon will continue to deliver SPY-6 radar systems and associated services to the U.S. Navy, including system integration, training, and engineering support.
The contract, which runs through 2026, covers all aspects of deployment—from shipboard installation to software upgrades that improve radar performance in evolving operational environments.
At present, two Navy vessels operate SPY-6 radars, with three additional installations scheduled for this year. The long-term plan is to extend the capability to over 60 warships in the next decade.
