The $229 million contract that KBR has won calls for the company to find and create possible upgrades for the CH-47 Chinook cargo helicopter. The agreement requires the Houston-based business to conduct research, analysis, evaluation, and development of recommendations with the goals of improving the helicopter’s availability, reliability, and lowering support expenses.
