Pratt & Whitney, a subsidiary of RTX, has secured a $1.5 billion deal to maintain the engines of the US Air Force’s F-22 Raptor stealth fighter jet. With over 900,000 flight hours logged by the 400+ F119 engines on the Raptor fleet, the three-year agreement will concentrate on lowering expenses and increasing readiness.
